Hi all
··· I need to have "6" 7-segment displays do a little light show. I am using a shift register to control the display, and I got it to display numbers here is the code that I am using:
nonZ = 0························· 'work from left to right······················
for index = 1 to 0
value = mile1 dig index
temp = value
read seven_seg_data + value, value
if temp = 0 then skipmile2
nonZ = 1
skipmile2:
if nonZ=1 OR temp <> 0 then SENDmile2
value = $00
sendmile2:
shiftout displaydata,odoclk,msbfirst,[value\7]
next
nonZ = 0
for index = 3 to 0
value = mile dig index
temp = value
read seven_seg_data + value, value
if mile1 <> 0 then send
if temp = 0 then skipmile1
nonZ = 1
skipmile1:
if nonZ=1 OR temp <> 0 OR index = 0 then SENDmile1
value = $00
sendmile1:
shiftout displaydata,odoclk,msbfirst,[value\7]
next
pulsout strobe,1
Thanks,
TC

Subject: [basicstamps] 4 Digit Led displays
Fellow Stampers:
I am an active stamper and have turned to this group many times and read
with interest all posts. Every once in a while someone uncovers some great
deal or product and lets the group know about it. Well I have stumbled
into a great deal and wanted to let my fellow stampers know about it. I
was able to purchase hundreds of 4 digit common anode displays
4" 2.5" and 1.8" and are unloading them on E-Bay. Please do not
interpret this as a strictly sales pitch but as an opportunity to get some
really neat LED Displays at a very reasonable price.
If interested please check the following links to EBAY
Thanks
