Hi Steve,
you can use just one pin of the stamp and connect up to twelve switchees to
it.
The trick is easy: connect a chain of resistors (try 2.2K) to GND and then
You connect the pin to this chain over the switches like explained in the
manual with the RCTIME command. Each switch connects to another point in the
chain so that the first one will connect the pin to ground over say 2.2K and
the second one over 4.4K and so on. Then you use the RCTIME command to read
in the status of which button is pushed. The only disadvantage is that you
cannot read two buttons at the same time.
