How do you not know your password, as you state in a message at 10:55 and
then tell us at 13:02 that you just spent seven hours fouling up your
account by entering seven hundred alternate mailing addresses e-mail
addresses in hopes one of them will work? It takes a password to do the
latter!
That said, the YahooGroups web pages for account maintenance can be a
nightmare if you gave YahooGroups a different e-mail address when you
established the original YahooGroups account than the e-mail address where
you receive list mail from YahooGroups. I suggest you send e-mail from the
e-mail address that is receiving the mail from the basicstamps list to
basicstamps-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
After you do that, do NOTHING for two full days, then if you are still
getting mail you don't want for basicstamps, write to
basicstamps-owner@yahoogroups.com
explaining your problem briefly, and asking him to manually unsubscribe you
from the basicstamps list. Ask him to confirm that he has done this. Now
be patient and do NOTHING for at least three full days. If the mail hasn't
stopped and you haven't heard from basicstamps-owner by then, write to him
again. When he finally confirms he has unsubscribed you, be patient and do
NOTHING for at least two full days. The mail should stop. If it doesn't,
write to basicstamps-owner again and this time include a sample message
from the basicstamps list along with ALL THE HEADERS. ALL THE HEADERS
means the headers containing several lines starting with "Received:" as
well as many other header lines. You'll have to ask someone else how to
find all the headers when using Microsoft Outlook. I don't have a clue.
