ADC0831 8-Bit A/D Converter. Where to purchase?

So, where does one purchase one of these little gems?
I'm trying to do the Analogue-Digital Tutorials from Parallax and they
rely on the use of this IC. When I purchased my BS2 I ordered a bunch
of components listed in the tutorials, but I couldn't find this IC for
sale at any of the electronics vendors where I made my purchases. Now I
see how vital it is to my experiements and I STILL can't find it
(except for Parallax, but they want too much for shipping).

They sell several versions by National Semiconductor. You probably want
the 8-pin chip, ADC0831CCN-ND at $3.71 each.

The 0831 is $2.00 and the 4-channel 0834 is $2.75. Shipping is very
reasonable.
