Help With Installation of StampPlot Lite?

Currently I'm working my way through the Parallax tutorials and am
doing the "Industrial Control" experiments. These call for the use of
StampPlot Lite.
Well, I'm new to Wintel and although I've downloaded and installed
several programs recently, this StampPlot Lite is driving me nuts.
I keep getting the following error code during installation:
"The MSVBM60.DLL File is linked to missing export OLEAUT32.DLL:421"
Fine and well, but it means absolutely nothing to me.
I'm installing from the file downloaded from the Paralax site and saved
to CD. I've tried downloading repeatedly and still the same impasse.
Someone mind giving me a nudge?
