Ok Al,

You got me hooked on buying some IC's off of you but I need some help I deciding on what I should get.

First, You seen what math problems I am using, I don't need any more memory, and those two problems are all I am using.

seconded, I need to count a pulse for 1000mS, and do a PULSIN of a low, and monitor 4 buttons, all at the same time ( or close to it ).

I am trying to make my project ( ADIC ) faster. Also can the PAK's run off one crystal ( will not be using the ceramic resonators )? And what type of crystal do you recommend?

    Hi TC,

    A PAK-I will do what you want math-wise. The PAK-II adds things like
    sin/cos/tan/log/etc. which you don't need.

    If I understand your pulse problems, you want a PAK-VII. It counts times and
    edges on 8 channels at one time. So you count pulses, track time, read
    pulses, and look at the buttons.

    You can read all the manuals online.

    Ordering a PAK soon earns you a free NetPorter CD too -- I can't recall when
    that ends, but it is soon. You have to put a code on the order
    (www.al-williams.com/awce for details).
