hi
i am new with the basic stamp (== i do not know much)
i would like to create a program to program bsII with my progamable
calculator (HP49G). I can compile it with C and them install the
progamming program in the calculator. The calculator is ready to use
kermit serial protocol and also Xmodem (other methods can be
explored). The memory limitation is o 1.5 Mega user mem (plenty). The
CPU of the calc is a Saturn (4 bi) (not very popular) 4 Mhz. It has
TX, RX and ground pins(it has a total of 10 but i think i only need 3)
that i can connect to a serial connector ( i already have a cable
made) and this to the bsII. Other programming languges are UserRpl,
SystemRpl, assembly and HPBasic (all built in, not C). The calculator
also has its own compiler (SystemRpl to MachineLanguage) and debuger.
Do you think is possible?
How could i get started?
is there a C program source code available that i can peak?
am i crazy?

I wanted to inerface a Palm or a graphing calculator to the stamp in a
robot. The calculator would function as a high-level processor (logical
operations) and the stamp would drive the servos, buzz the buzzers etc.
Everybody thought that was a crazy idea until i found calc.org . They
gave me some links (sorry, I've lost them) to info about it. I couldn'
go any further though because my financing didn't allow me to obtain a
polm or a calc. So I think you should ask staff of calc.org and in IRC
channels such as #TI (they have separate one for hp and i dont remember
    the name).
