Hard drive motor

Hello all, I am trying to find information or a schematic to connect to an
IDE hard drive. I am going to have the BS2 turn a fan on when the hard drive
is running and turn off when the hard drive shuts down. There must be some
wire in the IDE cable that simply turns the motor on?
Thankyou, Jeff

Current sensors are cheap, and there is no posibility of feedback or
groundloops or other annoyances.
And if you used the 4 wire power connector, and you make up a unit
for one drive, you can easiy move from one machine or drive to
another.
