Anyone have experience with the Texas Instruments
SN54/SN74LS674 parallel-in serial-out shift register?
I though I had mastered the machinations of shift
devices after getting an LTC1298 ADC to work, but the
'LS674 adds the R_W pin to select whether its single
I/O pin reads or writes; also, I am tying the Mode
switch to +5vdc. I need to connect two 8-pin DIP
switch banks.
