OT Xmitter Reciever

Hi All,

I'm looking for a Transmitter/Receiver setup that could take multiple
transmitters and be received by one receiver which could either send it's result
serially or make a pin low to differentiate which transmitter was activated.

The transmitters have to be relatively cheap and only have to be activated by
one switch but the receiver must be able to tell which transmitter was activated
up to a minimum of 8 transmitters. So the receiver must not only be able to tell
which one was sending the signal but also output via Serially or it must have
adequate outputs (ie. 8) in order for the processor to know which switch was
activated.

Also if I could get a range of about 150ft.inside a building that would be
fantastic.

I have been checking wireless alarms but most don't have addressable
transmitters.
If anyone knows of a product out there that I could buy and modify I'll do it.

Thanks

Ed Stevenson

Check out the transmitters/recievers availible from digikey. They
cost about $25 for a tx/rx/ant. You should be able to set up one
stamp to do recieving, and the others to do transmitting through a
serial line using the serout command. Using this you should be able
to preamble the serstring with which transmitter it is coming from.
