Can anyone recommend a manufacturer/supplier of outdoor enclosures,
preferably with clear covers. I am looking for something that is NEMA
3/3R or IP65, IP66.

Thanks in advance,
--Jeff

What size enclosure do you need ? Additionally, how do you intend on mounting
it ?? You'll need to supply a few more parameters before a good resource
    can be recommended.

    Jeff,

    Hoffman Enclosures: http://www.hoffmanonline.com/
    Rittal Enclosures: http://www.rittal.com/index4_com.html
    Hammond Enclosures: http://www.hammfg.com/

I have used all of the above and probably prefer Hoffman first, followed by
Hammond. I personally do not care for Rittal, but they are OK. Hoffman is
probably a little more money, but a lot of options and styles available and
    very good quality. Allied Electronics
(http://www.alliedelec.com/default.asp) carries Hoffman and Hammond, not
sure about Rittal. Other electrical/electronic supply houses will carry
    what you need also.
    Good Luck,
    Tom

Nothing too large--maybe a maximum width of 4" by 8" tall by 3" deep.
I was planning on "fitting the project to the enclosure". I used to
deal with pushbutton enclosures and other small electrical boxes and
know they can get pretty pricey. Mounting can be almost anything.
Again, the enclosure will determine the direction the project takes.

    I too will be needing an enclosure of about 24" x 24" x 8" with a hinged
door, not too expensive. Any more ideas. I have a friend who is a rep for
Hoffman if anyone needs anything from them. I bought one with a screw cover
at a nearby electrical dealer for $100.

Take a look here at Hammond's Technocase:
    http://www.hammondmfg.com/roleci5.htm
The R205-122-000 should be nearly what you want. The depth is slightly less
than your spec, but it follows the rest rather nicely.

    [font=arial,helvetica]You can try Automationdirect.com
They carry NEMA enclosures at reduced cost from Hoffman and Hammond.
I don't remember who makes them but they work fine. I use them a lot on
industrial equipment with no problems since using them (About 1 Year)
