Hi,

Quick question: Can an electrolytic capacitor be used with the RCTIME
function of the BS2? If yes, any precautions?

Thanks,
Corey C.

    yes

Electrolytic C's are notorious for being:

unaccurate (wide variation in actual value as opposed to labeled value)

leaky (some are VERY unusable for LOOOONG RC times)

    temperature unstable

    other than that . . . . . go for it

oh, and watch the polarity and voltage limits, of course.
