Has anyone ever interfaced an LS7166 (distributed through U.S. Digital,
manufactured by LSI/CSI) with a BASIC Stamp? I have a bit of PBasic code
that I would like to throw at someone familiar with this type of IC
programming. The chip itself is an intermediary between a microcontroller
(i.e. BS2) and an encoder (i.e. wheel encoder) that acts as a counter and a
direction monitor. It would be a great help, thanks!
