Has anyone interfaced a BS with a GPIB interface? I am curious as to how
complex this would be and what chipsets and special code would be required
to accomplish it.
Thanks,
Shawn

I have not interfaced GPIB to the stamp but I did do some GPIB
interfacing with a Macintosh serial port. I used a neat little device
made by Keithley Instruments called "500-serial". It converts serial
commands to GPIB protocol. It is only about the size of a DB25
connector hood. Inside it has a processor that does all the work! I
don't think you want to tackle GPIB directly with the Stamp; it is a
messy protocol and quite fast. The Keithley device was about $225
when I got it and well worth it.
