can i use the pulsin command to measure the digital servo pulses sent
to an r/c servo from the cars receiver?
Does anyone know how to do this?

Sure, just take the signal wire (one of three leads coming out of the
rcvr per channel) and connect it to your Stamp, and use pulsin per
the instructions.
I'm doing this to build a triple ESC for a 3 motor PT boat. I can
trim the fwd and rev calibration curves as I like (heavy on slow
speed sensitivity, instead of heavy on full speed ahead), depending
on width of the PWM signal.
