There were a few really good ones from a company in Germany. Aside
from that, there isn't much that I know of. A fellow Mac using
engineer tells me the best schematic program he knows of is
cross-platform for Linux, PC, and Mac, but I didn't catch the name.
I'll let you know what I find.

McCAD PCB board design, lite integrated package (schematics & PCB).
I use their "pro" version, and have since the days when the Mac was
the only computer that could do graphics on screen.

    http://www.McCAD.com/FREEMACSTUFF.html for mac, free

    http://www.McCAD.com/FREEWINSTUFF.html wintel, free

    Douglas CAD/CAM

    http://www.douglas.com 30 day demo (then $$$)

    Capilano designworks (schematics)

    http://www.capilano.com/dwmlite.html 30 day demo (then $40)

    Hi ya Tracy,

Right-on. Well, at least this will keep me busy and let me push on a
little further with my Mac up until I hit its oncoming programming
    wall. Thanks.

    Cheers,
