I've posted a BS2 library that I created for Eagle in the "Files"
folder (groups.yahoo.com/group/basicstamps/files). This is my first
attempt at a library. Please let me know if it doesn't work!

Hope that helps.

I've been using Orcad for years (under DOS, and without autorouter...
NO, I'm not THAT old ;-) ).
Then I've tried Eagle, because it was free and running under Windows.
I must say that I had to fight again myself to keep trying to use this
software, and forgeting all Ocad's quick keyboard shortcuts.
But now, I'm used to it, and I use it for all schematics I have to do
(also for electric diagrams).
You can create your own libraries with "exotic" components (new ICs,
motors, contactors, displays...)
The free version is fully operational, except for the following :
* the useable board area is limited to 100 x 80 mm (4 x 3.2
inches).
* only two signal layers can be used (Top and Bottom).
* the schematic editor can only create one sheet.
If you realy make your own PCB, two layers should be enough, and 100 x
80 mm is not so small.
I still use the 4.01 version, and I'm happy with this... but I don't
know PCB Express !
Phil.
