Jon-
If I understand the question you want your computer to play a sound
file in response to your Stamp detecting a condition. This is very
possible via a DEBUG statement from your Stamp which is then read by
a Visual Basic program which in turn invokes the sndPlaySound()
function to play a selected .wav file.

Hopefully that can be adapted for your application.

The Quadravox QV306M4 is a great solution -- so much so that Quadravox and
Parallax are working together to design even more "sound" solutions. ·You can
check it out at www.quadravox.com.

PS: I'm writing about the QV306M4 in "Stamp Applications" column in Nuts &
Volts magazine. ·Watch for it in the June issue.
