    Hello Alejandro
Some Months ago, I try to use a 3,5 floppy with an BSII but unfortunily it
doesn't work, you need to use the IDE protocol to Read/Write, and it's not
    easy.

Good look, and please if you can do it please write to me.
    Regards
    -Bruno-

    Search this forum.

there was a link a few months ago of a gentleman
who was getting floppy drives with the interface
so it could be used with the Stamp.

and if you find good information, please let us know.

    Dave

I saw a few months ago where someone was interfacing a floppy
drive to a stamp. What is the status of this project? Did it get
    done?

I am wanting to make a stamp data logger and the memory on the
stamp is limited. Writing to a floppy would be great. Any help
    would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Doug

    For Doug

To save data-logging data, you can display it in Hyperterminal, capture the
file to Word or Excel. You can then store it on a floppy or on your hard
    drive.

Right, but this is not very practical for a 'robot' river monitor that is
going to be placed in at the top of a river and taken out at the
    bottom. . .

    Thanks. . .anyway. . .

    Hi yas,

I went to that site, only to be told by "Internet Exploder" that it doesn't
    exist.

    Was there a typo?

It is for an IDE Hard drive. The processing of floppy disks without a floppy
controller chip is a right pain. I would even attempt it, and I'm normally a
    risk taker.

The site isn't working for some reason. I''ve been in touch with him
recently - Ill email BM and report back.

    Thanks,

    Tony
