Hello,
we have to convince our client that BASIC stamp is a feasible
solution with small coding requirements for a wireless
communication solution. Please tell me about your experiences
with tcp/ip functionality connected to a wireless modems.
Non interrupted operation from -25 to 85°C (sleep mode or power
down to protect the hardware not seen as interruption) is
required. Is it possible to update the tcp/ip stack later on?
For saving energy also backlit operation of an LCD module should
be only be active in case of triggered passive IR sensor and
reduced daylight. If necessary to save power the µP should go to
sleep without clearing the display and be awakened by I/O.
Probably you could name ready to use boards for this purpose.
many thanks
kind regards
