Floating inputs?

As someone previously stated, the 5V inputs to my Alarm System might be "floating" due to not being grounded. I was hoping you all could look at my wiring schematic and tell me what it is you think i could do to fix this.
I am using a momentary "OFF" switch that allows 5V to flow through it when the button is not pushed. The 5V is entering the sensor and flowing out into the PIC to read as a "1". I am getting weird results, like when sensor # 8 goes off, the it tells me that it was #6. weird. Thanks in advance.

some kind to tie both ground and +5 (with different resistances) to the
input pin. You might want to try this.
