could someone help me with a lcd display.
I got a lcd display from a flea market a few years back that i bought
for a $1.00 and i want to know if it works. The display has the
Hitachi 44780 controller on it, & it has 14 pins. maby someone has a
code for the BS2. i know Scott Edward has an interface for this tipe
of display but i do not want to buy one if the display dose not
work. Any tip will help

and they sent me the data sheet for it. thats all you need. the code is
simple.
go to http://www.phanderson.com/stamp/tutorial_10.html
for a lesson on serial communications. page 11-18 will tell you how to do it
and give examples in BS2 code.
