Al or anyone in the UK who can answer.
Is there a distributor for the PAK V in the UK ?
Will it run hacked servos the way I can with the stamp ?
Id like to try it on my Stamp based bot as Im fed up with the
amount of processing needed just to keep the bot moving smoothly.
Thanks
Gordon

Right now, I don't know of anyone in the UK that stocks the PAKs (Technology
Exchange carries some of our stuff, but not PAKs). Soon that might be
different, but not for today, and I don't suppose I'm a liberty to say more.
However, to run a servo, you really want a PAK-VIII. Parallax sells
PAK-VIIIs so you might have some luck with a Parallax reseller in the UK. Of
course, Parallax (or AWC) will ship you one over the pond.
Have a look at http://www.al-williams.com/awce/servobot.htm and see if that
won't do what you want.

Ill have to wait and see how long it takes to float across the water.

They say they hope to be able to supply in the spring.

A few months ago I ordered two PAK VIIs from the Leeds in the UK on a
Thursday and they were on my desk on the Monday morning. They
actually arrived before my Stamp chip which was distributed from
Leeds.
