Obviously the unsubscribe directions are not being understood...

I will write Yahoo to request full instruction be appended to every
message--1/4 of the messages in my mail box from this group are
"unsubscribe". At first I found it hard to believe Gore lost Florida over
the inability of many people to follow simple voting instructions. Now I
know first hand how common ignorance and laziness really are.

What we need is a thing on each message that says -- "Click here if you
managed to figure out how to subscribe but are too stupid to unsubscribe."

    Daniel,
Wouldn't it be easier for you to create a simple message rule that sends any
message with "unsubscribe" in the subject line, straight to the trash bin
than flame half the Democrats in the state of Florida? Bye the way, the
latest recounts are in and Bush still won?

    Power to your elbow Daniel.

More usefully, the group's owner can arrange for a line of text to appear at
the bottom of every message - this might be the answer.

Hey don't think I am saying Gore should have won. It was fair, Gore lost
fair and square because people failed to read instructions and follow them.
But you don't read the news obviously or prefer to delude yourself, the NY
Times had an analysis of the latest vote tallies by several independent
sources including the Florida Elections Commission and Gore lost over 9,000
votes due to the mistakes. They stated so--a fact not an opinion. If just a
small percentage of those idiots would have voted properly, Gore would have
easily carried the entire state and the nation. But the result we got
instead was legal and jbindingust but just not the intention of the majority
voters of Florida. I don't really care--I didn't like either Gore nor
Bush--I just pointed out that situation as an example but since you have now
replied to the entire group with an uniformed opinion presented as fact, I
need to correct it with the facts for the record.
