Dear Alan,
My Toshiba laptop also does not have a serial port. I regularly program
Stamps on it using a USB/Serial converter (Belkin) with good success. I even
have good bi-directional communication with StampPlot Lite and using the
debug window to send characters to the BASIC Stamp.
Sincerely,

Hi,
Has anyone been successful using a new USB only computer (Newer Toshiba
Laptops have eliminated the serial ports).
I have tried a Belkin and a generic (JDR) USB to serial converters. I cannot
communicate with the stamp at all.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Alan B
