No, it got through okay, on Monday, Mr Rodriguez wrote...

OR, no one knew the answer to the question, or, maybe they didn't
have time to answer at that moment, or maybe the answer would be too
long, whatever. There are lots of reasons that people do or don't
answer questions here.
Myself, I don't know what a PSX card is. I know what a CF card is,
and a PCMCIA card, and a serialflash card. And for those I would say
it might be possible with a lot of work, to achieve compatibility
with all the protocol layers (so that you can read it with standard
file structure in a PC). Maybe a hack on the serialflash, just to
store data, disregarding the protocol layers. Not a very
enlightening answer. Basically, "I don't know".
So, Carlos, what is a PSX card?

memory card from there with the stamp. there are only 8 pins to the
connector so I'd think its serial of some kind. Having a variable large
enough for pointer in a 1MB eeprom would be a major obsticle

time I wrote you, you didn't answer me. I'm only asking to the experts!!
About the PSX Memory Card:
Yes, PSX stands for PlayStation, his function is only store data from
games, like high scores or the last level or your progress.
I think there are 15 memory blocks in one 1MB card (about 68k2 bytes per
block). And it has to be serially comunicated. It will be great to use the
whole MB. And.... oh yes, this EEPROM must be very fast cause it only takes
a few miliseconds to write a minimum of 12kb or maybe it has some sort of
buffer.
If 1MB is not enought for you, then you can buy for a few bucks one memcard
that holds about 1440Blocks (68kb each), in my country (Venezuela) their
price is around 35.000Bs (50$) for 1440Blocks and 12.000Bs (17$) for
15Blocks.
Thanks.
