Displaying a JPEG?

Is there a way to use the stamp to display a JPEG? Preferably via the
Stamp->Video signal hardware? Has anyone tried this? I assume you'd
need to store the JPEG on another piece of accessible memory (such as
a flash card or smart media card), read it from that using the stamp,
run it through the jpeg decoding algorithm (which isn't too complex,
but may be more than the stamp can handle) and display it to screen.
Anyone tried any of this?
