I was talking to the tech guys the other day and they mentioned that they'd
heard of some Mac users having problems getting the stamp to work.
I'm a Mac user, and I've pretty much got this thing figured out. SO...
If there are any Mac users here who are having problems interfacing their Macs
with the Stamp, lemme know. I'm using VirtualPC 4, and a Keyspan Serial Adapter
on a FireWire G3 2000 PowerBook. It took some head-scratching to get it to work,
but it runs with no problems now.
It can be done, and if you are having problems, well, let me know and I'll be
glad to help.

Consider writing an article for the Stamp FAQ at
http://www.al-williams.com/wd5gnr/stampfaq.htm
Right now it says:
3.2 Can I run the Stamp software on the Mac/Unix/etc.?
There is information about using the Stamp with 68020 Macs at
http://www.tep.org.uk/stamp/st_soft.htm. This page also has info on using
the Stamp under Windows (with an adapter) and the Acorn (a popular machine
in the UK). You would think it would be possible to run the DOS version of
the Stamp software under DOSEMU on Linux, but I have not personally tried
this yet. Parallax has posted a document about programming the Stamp using
Virutal PC and KeySpan. Let me know your experiences with this.
I'd love to see a better article.
