Try www.Jameco.com. They have gear motors that range in speed from 2 rpm on
up. The 69 rpm unit they sell has 11 kg/c torque. and they sell for $20.00
each. Hope this helps.

Where can I find decent gearhead motors for a reasonable price? I know
there are a number of companies that produce them, but they always want you
to send a quote, which give me the impression that they are expensive. What
I want is something running about 90 RPM, and enough torque to move about a
4 pound robot (keep in mind, 2 motors). I have seen that there is a "brawn"
kit available for the rugwarrior, motors similar to those would be great,
but I don't want to spend that much money. Encoders would be nice, but are
not absolutely neccesary. I would like to be able to get a set for less
than $40. This probably means surplus.

    Ebay, electric wheelchairs. . .

I spent more than I intended but have a pair of very good motors, and
    the drive circuitry for them.

And these motors are designed to haul a lot of weight all day. . .

Check out the motorized wheel assembly ($39.95) at www.herbach.com (Herbach
& Rademan). They've worked out well in my applications.
