Has anyone seen code or schematics to connect a Serial clock chip to the
StampII ? In particular I am interested in the NJU6355.

Thanks,

Roy Hall

    Hi Leroy,

Do you have a particular clock in mind? There are lots of code examples
    floating around.

Try a search at http://www.jamesrusso.com/stamp/search.html for RTC, or
better yet search for NJU6355 and DS1302, two popular serial clocks.

see if that gets you going,

    Steve

Scott Edwards has posted the manual for the DCPB (data collection
proto board) on his web site <http://www.seetron.com>. It shows a
schematic and software for the NJU6533 clock chip (available from
digikey). Parallax sells the app-kit for the DS1302, which is a
slightly more capable chip, but also more $$.

    Roy,
I have code for the DS1307 I2C serial clock chip. The chip and
crystal are available from Peter Anderson (www.phanderson.com) for a
    very reasonable price!
