I'm using a bs2 with a ds1302 real time chip. I'm using a
32,7680KHZ crystal and it keeps perfect time. My question is:
Is there any way to determine a different size crystal so that the
time that is kept is approximately 4 minutes fast every 24 hours.

Hi Charlie,
Sidereal time for your telescope? There are 1440 minutes in a 24 hour day.
32768*1444/1440 = 32859
You could certainly special order it, but I don't know where you
could find it off the shelf. A tuning capacitor will allow you to
adjust +/- only a few seconds per day.

Has anyone got any code for the DS1302 or anyother serial Dallas RTC?
I will be very grateful.

Your assumptions are probably incorrect, unless, of course, they agree with
mine.
