PCB Design ??

I am finally making the big move to put my circuits on PCB rather than
the prototype boards I buy from Radio Shack.
I downloaded a program from the net ExpressPCB which works
beautifully. The problem is that it always prints with a gray
background. This is a problem since that will show up on the copper.
Anybody has experience with this program?
If not, can anyone recommend a freware program I can use that is
simple and Windows 98/2000 friendly?
Many thanks
Al

That's deliberate on their part. ·They want to build the boards for you. ·And
they do a good job. ·I find it's worth the money not to have to mess with
chemicals and drilling.

article to Nuts& Volts on the process, incluidng making circuit boards. In a
nutshell. you need to set corners off, grid off, all traces black, and
border to black.
2) take a screen capture (print screen key)
3) paste that into a graphic program , and crop it to size (lviewpro is good)
4) rotate or flip image to proper orentation
5) print out the artwork, to size, in inches or metric. PhotoPrinter.exe is
excellent
You can get lviewpro and photoprinter.exe from my website at
http://mntnweb.com/software.htm
I have submitted a complete article on the process, but it may be many
months before N&V can review it, or even accept it.
If you need more help, contact me off list, unless other people are interested?
