··· anyone know of a software program that can be run on a PC, under W95, that can tell you whats going on on a particular serial port? I have a need to work out a protocol between a PC and a device.

    Hi Tim -

    The programs you want are LISTEN or LISTEN32. A websearch should find them.

    How that gives you what you need.
