Female terminal strip needed

Hi all: I am looking for female solder on terminal strips such as are used
on the Board of Education to plug wires into for the 16) I/O of the stamp.
I can find male solder on strips but not the female style. I am sorry I do
not know what these are called.
I need them in the .1" spacing. Currently I cut apart a few IC sockets and
used them, but thats a pain needless to say.

Sincerely
Kerry

    Take a look at Digi-Key part # ED7150-ND. This is a 50 position socket
strip made by Mill-Max. The Mill-Max part # is 801-93-050-10-001.

Check out digikey's catalog, page 142. If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader,
check out this link -> http://rocky.digikey.com/USCatalog/V2/142.PDF.

The name is HEADERS. May be male or female, straight or right angle with
several lenghts and number of rows as well spacings.(.100" is the most
    used).
It is available from digikey, jameco, jdr, mouser etc...

Called SIP sockets, I think. Mouser has them.
