How about a pressure transducer? ;-)

You'll want one that has a range of 0 to 15 PSIA - pounds per square inch
absolute. Or you could get a differential (two-port) pressure transducer
with a 0 to 15 PSID range and seal off one port.

There are lots of manufacturers of these little guys. Motorola comes to
mind immediately, but just do a search on the web and you'll find a whole
    herd of 'em.

    What's the application?

    Good luck.

Check out the MPX4115A, it is signal conditioned and temperature compensated
right on the barometer chip. Outputs ~0 to 5V over a ~4 to ~34 inHg
    range... http://www.mot-sps.com.

Am I correct that the accuracy is of full span and since barometric
pressure uses only small percantage (about 6%) or betwen 14 and 15
PSI, then the accuracy 1% of 15 PSI is about 0.15 psi? readings
    would be +/- 0.15psi?

Temperatrure will also have an effect on mechanical devices and will
    also induce an error?

I know that if you cap off one side of a differential pressure
device, you will almost certanly cause an increse in pressure by the
tightiening of the cap. Epoxy or some hard sealant would not have
    the same effect.

    Regardless, calibration will be necessary.
