I found a gerber viewer that will allow me to print a negative. The only
thing is, the drill centers on the pads disappear(the pads are solid, not
donut shaped). How can I put the drill centers back on?

The holes were too small. I made the holes larger and
the holes became visible. Had something to do with
the thickness of the line itself. Do a test file with
different combinations.

Winboard's print function by selecting the colors to reversed BW values
through the color select menu.

Color select is the extreme right button on the Winboard tool bar. Choose a
layer. Set traces, pads, text, and board outline to color WHITE. Go to File,
Print. Check the color box. Print it out on a color inkjet printer, using
high quality black paper. That should give you a negative print. Note that
you can't preview it on screen, with everything set to white, but if you
uncheck the color box, you will see a positive view of your board. This is
useful to be sure that you've turned off any reference or part value text
that you don't want printed.
Note that if you have any copper zones, you'll use a lot of white ink.
Most board houses I've used wouldn't require a negative, and would make the
film from your color drawing for an extra charge.
Good luck,
Dennis
