A little food for thought ,,, The freezer alarms that are
available in general just warn you that . Your freezer has
failed and your food is about to thaw ... Consider this monitor the
temp. AND the current draw of the compressor not to
mention time ... I am not going to tell you that I am a expert ... But I
would think that the data that could be logged to form
a profile or signature of a " healthy " system ie. when temp is x
then expect y starting amps for T seconds run amps for R
seconds till the temp drops to O .... So in theory as parts of the
system degrade the temp / amp / time profile would change
possibly warning you that some thing is getting ready to fail
...... alowing you some time to find a place to stash your food
ahead of time .....
