BS2 found on BOE, BS2E a dud? *Solved!*

Oops! I had forgotten to set the "Default Stamp Mode"
in the prefs to BS2E. (or, presumably, to use a $STAMP
directive)

Sorry for the bandwidth, but I'm happy to look foolish
but have it recognized!
