Programing Stamps on Linux systems

Hi All,
I'm looking at a purchasing a older laptop which has Red Hat Linux 6.2
installed to program my BS2. At the moment, I'm unaware if it is also
equipped with DOS or Windows. So I'm wondering, has anyone got the stamp
programing software to work with Linux either by emulators or other means?
Please keep in mind that I'm a total Linux newbie when you reply!

Thanks!

This is the best I could find in a FAQ:

3.2 Can I run the Stamp software on the Mac/Unix/etc.?
There is information about using the Stamp with 68020 Macs athttp://www.tep.org.uk/stamp/st_soft.htm.This page also has info on using the Stamp under Windows (with anadapter) and the Acorn (a popular machine in the UK). You would think itwould be possible to run the DOS version of the Stamp software underDOSEMU on Linux, but I have not personally tried this yet. Parallax hasposted a document about programmingthe Stamp using Virutal PC and KeySpan. Let me know your experiences withthis.
