is PBASIC the language used to program the BASIC Stamp II?

if not, what is?

the language for BS1 and BS2 isn't the same, right?

    Yes. PBASIC is the name given to the language used for
    programming ALL Parallax Stamp modules.

    There is probably NO direct answer which won't tend to be confusing,

    I would suggest you download the NEW Manual - Version 2.0. from the
    Parallax website [noparse][[/noparse] http://parallaxinc.com ] in the DOWNLOADS section.

    On page numbered 33 there is a table (Table 3.1) of each
    of the PBASIC Stamp Editors, for BOTH DOS and Windows
    operating systems.

    I hope that help to avoid any possible confusion.
