Lcd from old epson printer

I was wondering if I could get my BS1 to talk to this LCD display
I got off of an old epson (I think) some time ago.
A little label on the back side says
"EDM-CPI4010
1018s"
and in front PC-PI40E 94V-0
there's also a logo that looks like a back-to-front capital RU..
any ideas ? (except go jump in a lake)
