Voice Recognition for the basic Stamp

Hi Everyone.
I'm a first time eGroup message poster.
Here is my question. I'm planning to add an inexpensive voice recognition
board to my BoeBot. I've found two choices to purchase. One cost $140
(HM2007 Speech Recognition Kit) and the other costs $50 (VoiceDirect(tm)
Module from Sensory, Inc).
I'm interested in feed back from those you who have adapted voice
recognition to their projects. If there are other inexpensive systems on
the market please let me know that too.
Any do's and Don't would also be appreciated. It seems that both of these
choices will require 8 i/o pins to receive data from the voice boards.
Thanks,
Dave Cousins
