serin connections

halo.... anybody out there know where to connect the bs2 serin 13 to??
when the receiver receive data, the receiver's output is connected to serin.
Then from the speed and baud rate, i am advised to use pin 13 as a kind of
serin.. But I do not know where should this pin 13 go to.. Should it go to
my controller output or elsewhere??
