Research funding opportunity (OT)

I hope this isn't too off topic. But there is a call for proposals
to develop miniaturized sensors to monitor ecosystem parameters.

I have lurked on this list for a while and I have been very
impressed with the caliber of people and knowledge on this list.
This call is a good place for anyone to submit innovative ideas
and get funded to develop it. BTW, I'm not affiliated with the
SERDP organization, just thought some of you folks would
be the right group to know about the announcement.

Jerry,
Very interesting comments you've made but...I'm at a loss to understand
"where we go from here." Are you talking about "us" getting funding or
somebody else getting funding for research. Hu?

Frank,
You as an individual can submit a proposal for funding. You sell
your idea to the organization and if it is accepted they send you
money to implement and build your system.
