Measuring acceleration
Archiver

Hello,
Does anyone know of a good website that documents how
to interface a model rocket with a Stamp to acquire
acceleration and other related data? I know this has
been done, but a cursory look on the internet has
yielded very little information.
Thanks all!
Todd

Check Analog Devices web page and search for acellorometer ICs. I remember
XL-05, but I think it is out of production and there are other ICs available
now.

Hi Tood -
You might try your question on the message group here:
sacrocketry@e...
or some other rocketry list servers. eGroups can be scanned by subject once
you become a member. Since you are sending messages here that's not a
problem : )
Once you know what you want to do, we can be better prepared to assist with
the recommended device(s). Others will respond (I suspect) with a direct
answer to your question, but becoming involved with one of those groups
will yield far more information about current devices, than those which are
generally discussed here.

Bruce Bates
