Basic Stamp Manual 2.0 - Printing problem

Is anyone able to print page 208 of the new 2.0 manual (page 210 for
Acrobat)?
I get the error: "The document could not be printed. A drawing error
occured."

I have tried it at home with Acrobat Reader 4.05b and at work with 4.05c
and with two different printers at each location. Is this a bad document?

    Hi Alan -

I just now fired it up, and tried viewing a range of pages from P 209-215
with NO errors. I DIDN'T attempt to print them, but I'd suspect if you can't
view them you can't print them, and vice versa.

I suspect one of two things:

    1. there may have been an error during the download, thus download
    the manual again.

It's always been my contention, that ZIP files travel best during download.
    YMMV, of course.

    2. Check the print drivers you use, with those indicated on the Adobe
web site. The have a number of specialized drivers. I've NOT had
to use them, but I've seen them be suggested for errors similar to
    this.

I'd be tempted to try this second avenue first.

    Regards,

    Bruce Bates

I had the same problem. I emailed Jeff about it. If you just print all the
pages before that page then print that page by its self it will still give
you the error put it will print the page, then you can print the rest of the
manual. At least that worked for me anyway.

Yes I have the exact same problem trying to print page 208 with Acrobat
4.05 under W95 or W2K. Views fine and I printed up to and after that page.

    Alan,
I just viewed and printed pages 208-210 with no problem. I'm using Acrobat
Reader 4.00318 on Windows ME, printing to an HP LaserJet 4M.
When I attempted to print it to my DeskJet 1220C, I got your "..drawing
    error occurred." error.
I then printed the page to a networked HP LaserJet 5MP with no problem.
I've run out of printers to test! I'm not sure what this proves, but
perhaps someone who understands printer configurations better than I do can
    interpret the results and comment.

    Thanks for the info Mike.

I haven't tried dropping back to Reader 4.0 but I think I still have the
    installer somewhere.

I had the problem on Win95B with HPLJ II driver and W2K with OKI
OLE400 driver(same printer). Worked on NT4 workstation to Lexmark
    Postscript Laser.
