BS2SX Timing
Archiver

I have a timing sensitive application for the BS2SX.
The speed is not really a factor since I'm
communicating with some relatively slow devices (opto
LED's). But I do need to know how long each of the
different instructions take -- or at least those to do
with counting, looping, input and output. I'm familiar
with the timing on the shiftin/out and serin/out which
is specked-out by parallax. From what I see "10,000
instructions per second" is an average of some sort.
Does anybody have this information?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike -
Here is a list of BS2 (various types) and the execution times compliments of
EME Systems [ http://www.emesystems.com/BS2speed.htm ]. That should get you
started.

The site of EME systems is really worth a visit and many downloads in order to
hold
this documentation at hand.
Thank you for your always interesting interventions on this group.
