Pak 7

There are two students who I have been helping that are using the BS2
and the PAK 7 to measure the deceleration of a ball. All seems to
work fine but the numbers were to high (above 65535) so they have
decided to change the prescaler to 320uS using this as the
instruction byte
%11000101
The problem is that the times being returned are still being measured
in 5uS units. I dont have the code with me but when the ball is
moving really fast (too fast for the application) the numbers are
correct. When the ball is moving at slower speeds the numbers are
much too large for there calculations.
Does the PAK7 need to be reset after the prescaler, or a pause in the
program or something. If someone has an example I would be very
greatfull.

Hope u can help me (them)

Andy

    Hi Andy,

That's very odd. Can you e-mail me off list to show me the code you are
using to set the prescaler? The prescaler does reset when you reset the chip
    or repower it.

    Let me know.
