HELP!! My stamp has fallen and it can''t get up

no no....
but I am have trouble making my stamps talk to my computer via the
board of edu. I can make it work on my computers but... the only way
I can ever ge it to work is the old dos software. I just got a new
tiny 700Mhz computer and when I use debug and watch the data that
comes out of the stamp, it like cuts off and it's only in that
machine. The only reason that I got the thing was to really right VB
software and stamp software. I think I'm going to make my own
connection like use a MAX 232 chip to connect my stap to my board of
eduction. But I need help to make VB talk to my stamps I haven't been
able to do it.
