Serial Text to Alpha Pager

I am in need of assistance in locating or creating a program that will
allow a small stream of data from a serial port to be sent to a
alphanumeric paging terminal for transmission to a pager. This data
will be sent to only one pager number so I do not need many extras
included. I have a Parallax Stamp and Cermetek modem cube. Thanks Don

Jury Rights

If a juror feels that the statute involved in any criminal case being
tried is unfair, or that it infringes upon the defendant's natural
God-given inalienable, or Constitutional rights, then it is his DUTY to
affirm that the offending statute is really no law at all and that the
violation of it is no crime at all-- FOR NO ONE IS BOUND TO OBEY AN
UNJUST LAW.

That Juror must vote "Not Guilty" regardless of the pressures or abuses
that may be heaped upon him by any or all members of the jury with whom
he may, in good conscience, disagree. He is voting on the justice of the
law according to his own conscience and convictions and not somebody
else's. THE LAW, ITSELF, IS ON TRIAL, QUITE AS MUCH AS THE CAUSE TO
WHICH IS TO BE DECIDED.
by Justice Harlan F. Stone, Chief Justice, United States Supreme Court.

What you'll need to do is implement the Motorola TAP protocol. The technical
documents are available from www.motorola.com. It runs at 300 baud, so the
Cermetek modem will work. The tricky part is the protocol itself. Not
impossible to implement on the Stamp, but will require some real work.
